On the 4th floor of the large and famous Åhléns shopping center in central Stockholm you find Basta, inviting to genuine Italian food, refreshing drinks, and a large slice of the good life.

Inspired by the Capri sunsets, food and drinks can be enjoyed at the beautiful interior dining room and bar, or even better, out on the spacious, lush and dynamic rooftop terrace, overlooking Sergels Square and the buzz of central Stockholm.

The Basta food menu includes everything from Antipasti and Neapolitan pizza to tasty pasta, all made with fresh and locally produced first-class ingredients. Drink-wise, you can expect a nice selection of Italian wines, as well as refreshing cocktails, mocktails and spritzers.

Already a popular Stockholm hot-spot, Basta celebrates 'la dolce vita', and you can visit for a sunny lunch, a really good dinner, a vibrant after work with colleagues under the lemon yellow awnings, or just a good glass of wine at the bar.

Even though the restaurant Basta is situated right in the center of Stockholm&#;s downtown area not everyone is aware that one of the city&#;s best Italian restaurants is located just above them. It&#;s time to reveal the secret: on the top floor of the Åhléns department store, there is a superb restaurant with really good Italian food, wine, and drinks – as well as one of the city&#;s most amazing rooftop terraces.

During the summer of , Basta opened the doors to this celestial kingdom of food. With over seats on its square meters under the open sky, this is an urban meeting place where you can enjoy the view of Stockholm City. In addition to the inspiring “Capri terrace” there are the same amount of places indoors, so the weather never prevents either a warming autumn lunch or a tasty Italian evening in the middle of winter.

The restaurant is decorated in a lovely, Mediterranean-inspired mix of colors and patterns. It is light and airy, seat cushions with sunny yellow lemons and matching umbrellas flanked by lemon trees in large pots give both scent and the right atmosphere

Uppe på Åhléns takterrass satsar italienska Basta på enstaka Capri-inspirerad känsla med sann italiensk föda, cocktails samt AW-häng på uteserveringen. Här serverar man närproducerad föda i struktur av antipasti, egentillverkad pasta och napolitansk pizza inom en urban miljö.

På varuhusets ljusa takvåning huserar denna italienska krog med ett generös takterrass på kvadratmeter med stolar eller bänkar. Här hittar du också cocktailbaren, vilket serverar svalkande drycker mot vyerna över centrala huvudstaden. "Capriterrassen" skyddas med hjälp av enstaka vit- samt gulrandig markis när solen trycker på, för för att tas försvunnen när kvällen tittar fram så för att du förmå njuta från att sitta under dryckesställe himmel.

Inne inom restaurangen är atmosfären lika italiensk såsom utomhus, tillsammans tapeter, fotografier och tavlor, mönstrade soffor, rotting samt trä, växter och föremål gjorda av lera och brända i en ugn. En grönskande oas för att tillbringa tidsperiod i, angående så för ett kopp i baren eller för en långlunch eller kvällsmål i restaurangen – såsom rymmer sittande gäster.
