&#;Växjö Citysamverkan besitter genom enstaka målmedveten plan, god struktur med bred förankring samt stabil vetenskapen om resurserhandel och finans lagt grunden för ett långsiktigt hållbar stadsutveckling. Lagandan är kraftfull och genom en fokuserad kraftsamling äger man vid kort tidsperiod visat vid resultat såsom gett stora avtryck. Målet är självklart, för samtliga är lagspelare i identisk ”fotbollslag”. inledande halvlek äger bjudit vid såväl syfte som målgivande passningar mot citys fördel. Nu existerar det dags för andra halvlek!&#;
Så löd Svenska Stadskärnors jurys motivering när Växjö blev årets stadskärna inom Sverige samt nu besitter vi siktet på för att knipa titeln igen!
Växjö Citysamverkan AB bildades under senvintern och arbetet påbörjas 1 januari Bolaget ägs, mot lika stora delar, från Växjö Centrumförening (näringen), Fastighetsägarnas Ideella förening i Växjö och Växjö Kommun. samtliga dessa aktörer vill ta hand ifall, utveckla samt få Växjö att blomstra, och då är för att göra detta tillsammans enda vettiga vägen framåt.
Idag äger vi ca medlemmar inom handel, service och restaurangnäring som engagerar sig samt stödjer centrumutvecklingen. Så gott som samtliga de stora fastighetsägarna existerar med inom organisationen samt vår samverkan är bred och klart förankrad.

Växjö is the second largest city of the province of Småland after Jönköping. It is located right in the southern inland of Småland. With many great lakes everywhere close to Växjö, you&#;ll find local cafés and restaurants with views of the water even in the heart of the city. Lake Växjösjön is surrounded by an almost five kilometre long beach promenade, which is part of Växjö&#;s city park.
Växjö is well developed for tourism and has a helpful tourist office, which offers a wealth of brochures. You could spend a whole summer in this area without running out of ideas of what to do. Both the Kingdom of Crystal and the Lake Åsnen national park are within easy reach from Växjö.
The city of Växjö is the administrative centre of Kronoberg County and home to Linnaeus University. Hence, there is a large number of cafés, pubs and restaurants to choose from. We really liked &#;Kafé de Luxe&#; with an outdoor terrace and bar as well as the pub &#;The Bishop&#;s Arms&#; (with a great selection of beers).

Växjö is the largest city in Kronobergs län in the region Småland in Sweden. In April Växjö's Smålandsposten reported a municipal population of 84, inhabitants.

[edit]The town itself is a small university town with many beautiful lakes. Växjö is in glass country. There are many glass works in the small towns surrounding it, and they produce both functional products and works of art.

Route 23 connects to Malmö South-West of Växjö, Routes 25 and 30 connects with the E4 highway in west and north-west, Route 37 carries traffic to Northern and North-Eastern Småland, Route 25 continues eastward towards Kalmar and Route 27 South-East towards Karlskrona.
